Salesforce – Person link
This integration updates the person and organization cards in TOPdesk based on your data from Salesforce.
To import data from Salesforce the TOPdesk servicebus extracts the information from the Salesforce API. This data is then transformed and used to update the relevant cards in your TOPdesk.
Requirements for setting up the link
The customer has to create an account in Salesforce with sufficient rights to use the BulkAPI of Salesforce. A Clientid, secret, username and password are needed to get information out of Salesforce. Also the client has to provide which fields of the Organization/account-table should be sent to TOPdesk and where in TOPdesk it should land. Consultancy is required to map the information from the Salesforce API to TOPdesk.
