How to set ITSAPI up in TOPdesk

  1. If you have no ITSAPI API Key yet, visit, scroll down to the bottom of the page and Click on “GET EARLY ACCESS”:
  2. Follow the SIGN UP process
  3. After you have successfully registered your account you should see the ITSAPI dashboard. If not, klick on
  4. Click on the button to request access to ITSAPI:
  5. Your email app will open up:
  6. Fill in all information and send it to us (If it doesn’t open, please send an email with the given information to
  7. We will check your Information, set up the 20% discount if you are a TOPdesk customer and give you a quick reply that you are ready to use our ITSAPI
  8. As soon as we unlocked ITSAPI for you, your dashboard is available:
  9. Now ITSAPI is fully available and can be integrated in Teams, Slack (via the buttons on the right side) and into your TOPdesk application by following the next steps
    • Changes you take here will effect your Teams and Slack integration as well as your TOPdesk integration.

Integrate ITSAPI into TOPdesk

  • Check if you have TOPdesk API user and Application Password. Make sure the API user can edit incidents.
  • Download the script below and load this into TOPdesk. Make sure to fill in the variables such as your own TOPdesk URL, TOPdesk API user, TOPdesk Application Password and the ITSAPI X-API-KEY token.
  • Link the action sequence to a context menu or a relevant event.
  • Done!
